I believe that for most individuals, the choice to seek a therapist does not come easily and that the decision to engage in therapy is often prompted by an experience of significant emotional pain, life change or loss. I strive to create a safe, affirming and collaborative space to allow clients to process their experiences, gain self-awareness, heal from the past, develop more positive relationships, and essentially feel better about who they are.

As a therapist I see myself as a guide in helping clients make desired changes in their lives and to enhance their understanding of who they are. I believe that therapy needs to be tailored to the individual and that what may work for one client may not work for another.

I have an interest in working with new parents struggling with anxiety and depression, or simply adjusting to such a significant life change. I have experience treating both anxiety and depression and am a change oriented therapist. I am also experienced in providing therapeutic services to the LGBTQ community and I am affirming of all sexual orientations and gender identities.
